10,000 Calorie Mashed Potatoes

Start with cooking potatoes by boiling them in salted water until tender. Once they are done rinse water off them and add 1 to 2 sticks of butter, one 8 once package of cream cheese, some fresh garlic (garlic seasoning will work too),and 1 big scoop of sour cream any flavor you like ( I used onion and chive sour cream).  Once it is all mixed and mashed up then add some salt, pepper, chives, parsley, Italian seasonings.  This is where you can add any other seasoning you like. Make sure to taste and add more of anything above it it seems to plain.

Serve hot.

Scrumptious Stuffing

I will start with browning one or two rolls of pork sausage with onion, celery, mushrooms and peppers of your choice.

Put two bags of stuffing mix in a big bowl I use herb flavored but you can use plain if you want.

Melt 2 sticks of butter in a pan and add chicken broth a can or two. I used a carton of it.  Mix together stuffing, pork sausage, onion, celery, peppers and butter mixture. I season with pepper, Italian seasoning, thyme, sage, oregano, celery salt, parsley and garlic.

I put mixed stuffing in a large oven safe dish and refrigerate until time to cook.

Bake 350 degrees for 40- 45 minutes or until hot through the stuffing. Very easy stuffing mix which can be made for more than Thanksgiving.

Super Sweet - Sweet Potatoes

I will use canned sweet potatoes for this recipe.  It will taste the same whether you use canned or fresh.

Pour 1 or 2 cans of sweet potatoes in an oven safe dish.  To that I add a stick of butter sliced into tabs.  I will then add some brown sugar, any amount you want works, walnuts, and some marshmallows on top.

Bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes (depending on your oven)until hot and bubbling.  Cool this super sweet sweet potato recipe.

Enjoy.

Cranberry Crush Fruit Salad

Crush whole fresh cranberries and a cup of marshmallows in a food processor.  When they are blended up add 1 1/2 Cup of sugar or more if needed to make tart cranberries sweet and blend a little more.  Pour crushed cranberries in a bowl and add diced up apples, oranges and a can of crushed pineapple minus the juice.  I save the for sangria.

Mix all fruit and some slivered almonds or walnuts.  Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Teriyaki Green Beans

You start this with a pound of bacon.  Fry it up crispy and put it aside.

In the bacon grease fry any amount you want of thinly sliced peppers of any color and onions.   I then add frozen long green beans and cook till tender.  You can use fresh if you like and just cook till tender.

When they are done I mix some honey and teriyaki sauce together (any amounts you would like,  more honey for a sweeter taste and less for a more teriyaki taste) and pour it over the green bean mixture.  Season with salt and pepper and any other seasonings you like. Make sure to taste more than one and adjust seasoning to taste.  Top with slivered or sliced almonds and the fried crumbled up bacon.

Toss and simmer for a few more minutes.

Enjoy
