The Fettuccine and Meatballs in Red sauce for my
sandwich was made out of leftovers from the day before. This sandwich can be made with speghetti and meatballs if that is what you have leftover. I just took the leftovers and heated them up in a sauce pan with some more sauce and 1/2 cup of Parmesan
cheese.
Fettuccine and Meatball Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Start by reheating the Fettuccine and meatballs from the last recipe. I cut the meatballs into quarters so they stay on the sandwich easier.
Cut out of the French bread a sandwich size piece. Butter and toast both of the insides of the
bread in a fry pan.
When it is finished
place some shredded cheese on the bottom piece of the sandwich and put it on large oven safe baking dish. Put some Provolone cheese on
top of the shredded cheese then put the hot fettuccine and sauce mixture on top
of Provolone cheese. On
top of the Fettuccine mixture you evenly distribute the ½ cup of Mozzarella and
the 2nd piece of Wisconsin Provolone on top of that.
Put
the top piece of French bread on the sandwich and bake for about 15 minutes or
until it looks toasted and the cheese is melted.
Let Cool and Enjoy
